About Me

Like many of my clients, I struggled with food and eating healthfully before becoming a nutritionist. Throughout my childhood and early years, I was challenged by a variety of health issues that made me feel out of control
and helpless. I knew that I needed to heal both my body and my relationship with food, but wasn’t quite sure how.

After much consideration, I immersed myself in learning all that I could about the proper way to fuel my body. I
studied rigorously to become one of the top-trained nutritionist in my field with a true understanding of the
physiology of eating –which in turn, allowed me to heal my own body.

I found that when I combined my Western medical background with alternative healing methods such as
supplements, Reiki and functional nutrition, I was finally able to let go of the judgment around food. It takes time,
experimentation with new ways of eating and courage, but I wholeheartedly believe that you can accomplish this harmony, too.

I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and Certified Clinical Nutritionist with a Masters of Science degree in
Nutrition from Bastyr University in Seattle, one of the country’s most prestigious schools for holistic natural medicine. I hold a Bachelors of Arts in Hotel Restaurant Management from Michigan State University. My lifelong passion for delicious food and cooking led me to attend L’Ecole Hoteliere Summer Chef School in Lausanne,
Switzerland, as well as complete a culinary internship at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. I have managed various fine restaurants throughout the Chicago area. I am also a certified Reiki Master, which means that I am able to
further aid in your energy healing.

Over the past 25 years, I have studied extensively and shared my passion for both alternative and conventional
nutrition with thousands of clients who come from a variety of backgrounds, such as entertainment, sports,
entrepreneurial and corporate.

Because of my unique expertise in nutrition and mind-body approaches, I am in high demand for speaking
engagements and culinary demonstrations throughout the country. Previous venues have included:
